Installation Instructions
Installer/Contractor to provide concealed anchor or blocking as per local codes.
THESE SHOWER SEATS ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS WHAT THEY ARE MOUNTED TO. WE RECOMMEND ¾” PLYWOOD SHEET OR A 3/16” STEEL PLATE
1) Determine seat height (as per local building code) should be approx. 17”-20” from the finished floor to the top of the seat in the down/ useable position.
2) Locate seat with the (2) upper mounting flanges flat against the wall. Assure that the seat is level front to back and side to side.
3) Mark the mounting holes for the (2) upper brackets.
4) Drill the appropriate holes through the fiberglass or tile, and through the plywood and steel backing.
5) Fasten the mounting screws through the (2) top flanges
6) Fasten and tighten.
7) Check the seat for smooth up/down movement.
8) With the seat top level, locate the lower guide bracket flat against the wall. The support arm must bottom out in the support bracket when the seat is in the down/useable position.
10) Mark and drill as in steps 4 and 5.
11) Check the seat position for smooth up and down motion. The seat will snap gently into the up position.
